Snook Cycling

Based in County Durham, England we are a family and friends ‘team’ who cycle for fun while looking to complete as many of the famous one-day Classic and Tour climbs as is possible. The team is based in Bowburn, County Durham – only a few miles from the birthplace of former World Champion cyclist Tom Simpson. It was the legend of Simpson that got the team together in the first place, starting with C2C followed quickly by the world famous Giant of Provence, Mont Ventoux…

Our biggest achievements to date have been getting 4 team members into the Cingles du Mont Ventoux club, a challenge that requires 3 summits of the baldy mountain in less than 24hrs. Since then we have also completed a double ascent of Alpe d’Huez, rode the Paris-Roubaix and Ronde van Vlaanderen Sportives, summited many Tour de France climbs as well as participating in several Sportives and fun rides around the UK.

TSC are proudly sponsored by Pedalling Squares and KRP Trucking. Pedalling Squares are a Newcastle based Cycling Café-Bar who are also offering retro cycling jerseys and clothing at low prices! Pedalling Squares provide our 2 team jerseys! KRP Trucking are a North East based Freight company who kindly sponsor our team bib shorts.

tenfortrinitylogoTSC are proud to help the efforts of team member Dave who raises money for the Trinity School in County Durham, which caters for pupils between 2 and 19 who have a range of special educational needs. Every year Dave completes a series of challenges, including events with TSC.

Our team is powered by the Swift Motorhome, which you have no doubt seen in locations such as the Col du Hartside, Le Mont Tanhill and Alpe Bollihope. While the van is perfect for our current team size, we are always interested in offers of new vans as we expand, and particularly those with draft lager (two pumps) interest us greatly.
